Our Wedding

Our story started by what can only be described as a happy accident—a click on a beautiful smile. Danny was instantly drawn to Katie’s warmth, sweetness, and, of course, that radiant smile. Katie couldn’t help but be drawn to Danny’s sense of humor and thoughtful nature....not to mention those beautiful baby blues.

After nearly a month of talking, we planned our first date: lunch at The Swanson in Perry, GA, halfway between Milledgeville and Albany - a place that would continue to be special throughout our relationship.

From the moment we saw each other, sparks flew. Lunch turned into hours of talking, laughing, and discovering just how much we had in common. Neither of us wanted the day to end, so we wandered downtown Perry, sharing stories, jokes, and lots of smiles along the way.

As our love grew, so did our adventures—weekend visits, shared laughs, and countless little moments that made every day together special. Even when Danny worked out of town, we made every weekend count.

Then came May 23, 2025—a day we’ll never forget. Back at The Swanson, the place where it all began, Danny had a special book called “Our Story”, filled with illustrations and memories from our adventures. After a quiet walk, he gave Katie the book. As she reached the last page, Danny held out the ring. Tears, laughter, and joy followed, and in that moment, we knew we were ready to spend forever together.

From a happy accident to a magical first date and a heartfelt proposal, our journey is full of love, laughter, and a connection that grows stronger every day.
